Six Hair Masks with Almond Oil

The pale yellow colored oil extracted from the almond nuts is one of the best substances used to obtain long eyelashes, healthy looking shiny hair and fine complexion. It is fragrant, rich of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, E and D and it also contains minerals like calcium and magnesium, and Omega 3 fatty acids.

The almond oil hydrates, reduces the hair loss and has a proven anti-dandruff effect. It also prevents the appearance of that awful split ends, which make you visit your hairdresser at least once a month to almost no good purpose. My own daughter who you see on the photo above had herself split hair edges but after using hair masks with almond oil, all her problems disappeared.

I would like to share with you six hair masks prepared with almond oil which will be really effective if applied on a regular basis.

In order to get a better result, always apply the chosen mask on well washed and dry hair.

1. Hair Mask with Almond Oil and Yogurt:

Mix in a bowl 1 teacup yogurt, 1 yolk, 2 tablespoons almond oil and 2 tablespoons fuller’s earth. Spread the mask all over your hair (don’t forget to massage the hair roots for awhile), put on a shower cap and leave the mask to nourish and strengthen your hair for about half an hour.

2. Hydrating Hair Mask with Almond Oil and Coco-Nut Butter:

Take 1 tablespoon coco-nut butter and melt it on water-bath. Add 1 tablespoon almond oil, mix well and while the oil substance is still warm, smear with it your hair. Put a shower cap and leave the mask to do its work for an hour.

3. Nourishing Hair Mask with Banana and Almond Oil:

Squash well 1/2 banana, add 2 tablespoons almond oil and 1 tablespoon cream. After mixing the contents in a bowl put the mask on your hair and leave it for 30-40 minutes. Don’t forget to put on a shower cap in order to keep the head warm-it widens the pores and thus the hair mask is more effective.

4. Nourishing Hair Mask with Strawberries, Yolk and Almond Oil:

Squash 1 teacup strawberries, add 1 yolk and 2 tablespoons almond oil, then mix them in a bowl. Rub the mask in your hair, put a shower cap and wash with shampoo after an hour.

5. Hair Mask with Rum, Green Tea and Almond Oil:

Put 1 tablespoon rum in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon powdered green tea and 2 tablespoons almond oil. Start massaging from the roots to the hair edges. Leave the mask on your hair for an hour. It stimulates hair growth and prevents the split of the hair edges.

6. Hair Mask with Yolk, Red Wine and Almond Oil:

Mix in a bowl 1 yolk, 5 tablespoons red wine and 2 tablespoons almond oil. Put the so prepared mask on your hair and leave it for half an hour. Don’t forget to put on the shower cap.

If you decide to use one of the above described hair masks, in order to get a guaranteed effect, apply the chosen mask every week in a course of 3-4 months.

There are people who wash the hair masks using only water. My advice is to always wash your hair with shampoo after applying any hair mask. You would not like to go out with oily and clotted looking hair, would you?
