Good Alternatives to Buying a Kitchen Stove

Do you want good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove? Not everyone wants or needs one, especially if their kitchen is small. Maybe the old oven stopped working and/or you don’t want to spend money on a new one. They can be quite expensive! Maybe the home didn’t have one in the first place. One or two people can get by with countertop burners, air fryers, and other options if they have a vertical surface near outlet(s). Use the following options if you don’t want to buy a stove. They could serve as temporary solutions, or they could be used as permanent alternatives to traditional cooking and baking methods. A microwave can’t do it all, but a number of appliances can do the job of one.

A Stove Isn’t a Necessity for Everyone

I want to keep my stove for a number of reasons. First of all, I have a large family, and even though I only have one child at home, I host Easter dinner. My stove works as it should, and I have plenty of kitchen space. I consider myself fortunate, but not everyone has lots of room or the funds to replace an irreparable stove. At least many other options are available these days. After all, who says that all kitchens must have a stove? Other appliances enable people to cook using alternate methods of preparation.

I have a friend that doesn’t have an oven, and she doesn’t mind since she lives alone. She came up with good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove. She filled the empty space where the range had been with a beautiful wrought iron shelf unit. She uses the shelving for decorative storage purposes since her cabinets are greatly lacking. Every other shelf is lined with gorgeous handwoven baskets, and she uses the baskets to hold everything from extra flatware to prepackaged snack foods and fresh fruit. It doesn’t look like anything is missing.

Good Alternatives to Buying a Kitchen Stove Include a Toaster Oven

Consider an Oster TSSTTVMNDG Digital Large Capacity Toaster Oven when seeking good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove. As you can see from the photo, the model pictured is black with stainless steel accents, and it will hold a 13” x 9” baking pan. You can broil, warm, defrost, toast, bake or use it as a convection oven. It’s highly versatile, roomy and does as much as or more than a standard-size oven. The controls are digital for accuracy, and it includes a removable crumb tray for easy cleanup. Even though I don’t need good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove, it’s the toaster oven that I want when mine quits working. Mine isn’t nearly as good as the Oster, but I paid almost as much as the model pictured. It’s a high-quality toaster oven that’s very reasonably priced. No wonder it’s a popular best-seller.

A Slow Cooker is Another Phenomenal Cooking Implement

If I planned to get rid of my stove, I’d also want a slow cooker. You can make everything from bread to casseroles in a slow cooker, and they’re available in various sizes. I don’t use mine as often as I should, but I use it most often in the summer when I don’t want to heat up the kitchen. It’s great for slow-roasting beef, chicken, and other meats. I’ve also used it to slowly cook corned beef and cabbage. When looking for good alternatives to buying a stove, it’s a must for large quantities of homemade soups and stews. Everything can’t be accomplished in a toaster oven.

A Portable Burner is Ideal for Frying Eggs and Many Other Foods

Not every fried food is ideal for deep fryer preparation either. Fried eggs and bacon are just two examples of foods that are best when prepared in a skillet. When seeking good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove, invest in at least one portable double countertop burner. Two high-quality burner units will offer the capacity of a regular four-burner stove top. You’ll save a considerable amount of money and space. After the double burner(s) cool, simply tuck the unit(s) away. It’s a space-saving product as well as a phenomenal cooking implement. They are good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove if your food preparation methods require burners.

Opt for a Top-Quality Counter Top Appliance

The Waring Portable Double Burner that’s pictured on the left is a top-quality appliance that offers burners of two different sizes. It has more settings than the average stove top, and it’s far more accurate. As I’ve said, I don’t require good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove because I’m keeping mine, but if I were to ever go without one for any length of time, I’d want a Waring Double Burner as well as a slow cooker, a toaster oven, a deep fryer and a microwave oven.

Each appliance performs a different task, and each one would come in handy when preparing meals for one or two people or for a much larger gathering. Good alternatives to buying a kitchen stove are ideal for food preparation no matter the size of your kitchen or how many people that you regularly cook for. It just depends on what you want. It also depends on your preferred methods of food preparation.
