Emmy Rossum is currently the beautiful star of the hit comedy/drama show on Showtime, Shameless. It was on Shameless that I first saw Emmy Rossum but since then I have found that there is so much more to her than her wild and shameless character of Fiona Gallagher.
Emmy Rossum was born in 1986 on September 12 in New York city. She actually started in music and her naturally beautiful voice was perfectly suited to opera. Really. You have to hear this girl sing! She later moved into acting.
Emmy Rossum is a very talented woman and this lens will show you some of the amazing stuff she has done over the years.

Of course, I know her best as Fiona Gallagher in the hit Showtime series, Shameless, but as you can see, Emmy Rossum is very talented and has play a wide array of roles.

Emmy Rossum, Singer
Emmy Rossum has also done a lot of singing. She started singing as a young girl with the Metropolitan Children’s Orchestra. Her first professional singing appearance was in the made for television adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera.
Since then she has created several mainstream albums that are technically pop but not bubble gum pop. Her first album was called Inside Out and was released in 2007. She sang at several national events, including sining the national athem at NASCAR and the Hollywood Christmas Celebration in LA. She can also be heard as a guest with artist like Chantel Kreviazuk, Alex Band, and the Counting Crows.
In November of 2012, she announced that she would release her second album, Sentimental Journey, in January of 2013. This album is different than her first as it covers many of the great classics of music between the 1920s to the 1960s.
