Anime Black Butler: Book of Atlantic Release Source:

Yup, you heard it right.

This anime we’ve been waiting for two years are finally releasing the continuation of Black Butler! Who’s excited? Definitely me! I don’t know about you but you must be if you landed on this article, right?

For those who don’t know or may have forgotten, Black Butler or Kuroshitsuji in Japanese, is a manga that has been adapted into anime. Black Butler is a manga about a young boy aged 12 and later on, 13 who is seeking revenge for the ones who disgraced his family name. Because of his thirst of revenge, he made a contract with a demon to help him seek revenge in exchange of his soul. Along the way, the boy, also known as Ciel, worked as Queen’s Guard Dog to ease the Queen’s worries away with the help of his demon butler, Sebastian.

It will be released on 21st January 2017 in Japan. Perhaps, it will take a month or some to appear in countries other than Japan? For your information, it won’t be a television series (with episodes) like the previous arcs but it’s going to be a movie. Ah, well, even though I’m a little sad that I won’t be seeing Sebastian and Ciel as much. I could only hope that the movie will be 4 hours long or something (yes, it seems like I’m hoping too much.)

Black Butler: Book of Circus is a work of genius – tragic but fascinating and I am hoping Black Butler: Book of Atlantic will be as great as Book of Circus. I won’t spoil the show for you but I have read the manga of Book of Atlantic arc and I must say, it’s an amazing arc so I wish the anime would be as wonderful as the manga. One thing I love particularly about the manga is the elaborate artwork.

In this anime, you get to see the cool Lady Elizabeth’s act that you perhaps, had come across on tumblr and other forms of coolness.

The anime is directed by Noriyuki Abe and written by Hiroyuki Yoshino and the opening theme will be a song titled Garasu no Hitomi or Glass Eye sung by SID, the same band who sang as the opening theme for the previous anime series, Black Butler: Book of Circus. The voice cast will be pretty much the same as before with Ciel Phantomhive voiced by Maaya Sakamoto and Sebastian Michaelis by Daisuke Ono. I love those two’s voices.

I can hardly wait but there’s nothing we can do besides waiting, isn’t it?
