Goa Gajah Temple

Goa Gajah appears in the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage as it is one of the most ancient structures found in this part of the world. Goa Gajah was built in 9th century, and it now serves as a sanctuary. The entrance of Goa Gajah hosts an astounding figure close in resemblance to an elephant, which is why it is also known as Elephant Cave. The intricate carvings on the entrance wall will entice you praise the hard work of craftsmen for putting it together. This place hosts two temples, the Hindu elephant temple is at the top, and on the lower part of Goa Gajah is located the temple of Buddha.

Pura Taman Saraswati

Located in the heart of Ubud, Bali, this serene and beautiful site perfectly portrays the unique landscape of Bali. It’s not hard to find Pura Taman Saraswati, it is located right across the central market of the city. The main downside I find about this site is that you cannot get inside the temple. However, the beautfil exterior and the lily pond will keep you amazed and engaged a good half an hour or more. The exterior of Pura Taman Saraswati also makes a perfect place for amazing photographs. So, make sure to capture a lot of them and save these joyful memories for entire course of your life.

Gunung Kawi Temple

You will find this place amazingly serene and spiritual. Neighboring Gunning Kawi Temple are the wonderful views of rice terraces and other excellent green vistas. Places like Gunung Kawi Temple are indeed hard to find anywhere else. You will have to cover a lot of stairs to get to the temple, but the beautiful sights on both of your sides and small shops line the stairs will make your time interesting and won’t let you get bored or exhausted.

At the entrance of the temple you will be greeted by towering trees that will make you feel that you have entered into a whole new realm. The magnificently huge and aesthetic carvings of the temple will get you astonished.
